A traditional estate in Suffolk, steeped in history and diversifying in a sustainable way. Now home of the Farmhouse

Welcome to Nether Hall Estate

The Nether Hall Estate lies to the south of Pakenham village, some 5 miles to the east of Bury St Edmunds, in Suffolk

The Estate extends to around 500 acres, and is a mixture of beautiful parkland, ancient grassland and water meadows, together with extensive woodland and arable land. It includes a large lake, and a walled garden. It is a haven for wildlife

As well as Nether Hall, the Estate properties include The Farmhouse, a large Suffolk farmhouse available for short term lets, and several other rental properties

The owners recommend...

For the walkers, we recommend a scenic loop on the Estate footpaths and around Pakenham wood which passes the beautiful village church. Make sure to view the Lake and the avenues, lined by ancient trees

For the pub goers head down to The Fox in the village for some award winning ales. If you fancy exploring further afield then head to The Bull in Troston or The Brewers in Rattlesden

To make the most of your stay, why not play an early game of tennis or head to the gym, relax in the garden with lunch under the pergola and sunset drinks in front of the house overlooking the water meadows. Cap it all off with a movie night in the cinema room
